My 3D2N Staycation in Sentosa

Had a staycation in Sentosa with the little ones during the weekdays, when Sentosa is not that crowded. 
Take the opportunity take a break too =)

Back in the hotel. Received a cute little birthday cake.

My Testimonial for Millennium & Oxyginberry during labour and post delivery!

I still can recall the night when I started to feel contraction! 

It was actually mild contractions, but very different, as it's as if the baby keep kicking me! 

After monitoring for 1-2 hours, I felt it's not so right, although it's not a strong contraction, I decided to go hospital 1st to prepare for delivery!

Immediately grabbed my hospital bag (and I ensured my Millennium liquid was in), my hubby drove me to hospital in the late night. 

My sixth sense was right! After admission, the nurse confirmed that it was real contraction! 😃

While waiting for labour after epidural injection, I took Millennium liquid sip by sip to give me energy and continue boosting my immune system to prevent side effects of epidural injection later on, and to prepare my body to speed up wound recovery after birth, and enhance the quality of my breastmilk. 

The whole labour duration took about 9 hours! 

Finally my baby girl was born within the 1st push with the weight of 2.895 kg! 
It was very smooth! =) 

After delivery, I kept drinking the Millennium liquid throughout my stay in the hospital! :) 

I finished 1 small pack of millennium liquid and open another new pack on the 2nd night of the hospital stay.

for the subsequent period at home, I took larger amount of Oxyginberry as my TOP priority to enhance more self-production of collagen to shrink back my womb and make it more elastic back faster.

I must say that my entire labour and recovery was smooth. :)

Thankfully I don't experience frequent urination or urine leakage after birth. 

Also blessed enough i don't have any stretch mark during this pregnancy too!

Thanks to Oxyginberry to ensure enough collagen production for my body to cope with the pregnancy and after birth!

The Blessed Arrival of My 3rd Baby!

Would like to share a happy news that I just gave birth to my third E.Excel baby. 

Blessed to welcome my younger daughter, Xiu Xiu =) 

Weighed 2.895kg, came out 2 weeks earlier ! 

I'm thankful that she doesn't have jaundice, same like her Jie Jie and Kor Kor!

I am thankful to be able to achieve the below weight although I haven't started my post-natal massage while enjoying the confinement food: 

Pre-Pregnancy Weight = 49 kg

Pregnancy Weight before delivery = 57 kg

Post-delivery Weight (10 days after birth) = 51 kg

Is Organic Food Really Free from Pesticides?

Organic food has become popular among many health conscious people especially parents of young children as they believe the organic food is free of harmful pesticides. 

However, is organic food really free from pesticides?




According to the above news article,  we can learn that there are many 'organic pesticides' which are harmful to humans found in organic harvest!! 

What is organic definition?

The word "organic" refers to the way farmers grow and process agricultural products, such as fruits, vegetables, grains, dairy products and meat. Organic farming practices are designed to meet the following goals:

• Enhance soil and water quality
• Reduce pollution
• Provide safe, healthy livestock habitats
• Enable natural livestock behavior
• Promote a self-sustaining cycle of resources on a farm

Materials or practices not permitted in organic farming include:

• Synthetic fertilizers to add nutrients to the soil
• Sewage sludge as fertilizer
• Most synthetic pesticides for pest control
• Irradiation to preserve food or to eliminate disease or pests
• Genetic engineering, used to improve disease or pest resistance or to improve crop yields
• Antibiotics or growth hormones for livestock

Organic crop farming materials or practices may include:

• Plant waste left on fields (green manure), livestock manure or compost to improve soil quality
• Plant rotation to preserve soil quality and to interrupt cycles of pests or disease
• Cover crops that prevent erosion when parcels of land are not in use and to plow into soil for improving soil quality
• Mulch to control weeds
• Predatory insects or insect traps to control pests
• Certain natural pesticides and a few synthetic pesticides approved for organic farming, used rarely and only as a last resort in coordination with a USDA organic certifying agent

Therefore, it's not surprising that you can still find traces of pesticides (being organic/ synthetic) in the organic harvest! 

So, to me, especially with Chemical Engineering background, the strongest evidence of ORGANIC are through pesticide testings. 

As this is the ONLY way to prove that the harvest is really free from pesticides.
